This project is?undertaken?by Hangzhou Water Treatment, a subsidiary of Sinochem Environment Holdings Co., Ltd. The commencement of clean water production signifies a significant milestone in the project's progress.
As one of the key projects to ensure the security of water resources in Algeria, the?project is currently the largest international seawater desalination project where a Chinese company independently designs?and provides?the core technology package. Once fully operational, the?project will play a crucial role in alleviating water scarcity issues in Algeria and ensuring local water supply.
Hangzhou Water Treatment provides comprehensive engineering services including design, procurement, and operation management. To ensure the first set of equipment starts producing water on time, the project team worked tirelessly on-site during the Spring Festival holiday, accelerating the construction progress and successfully achieving the set goals. Currently, the project commissioning work is moving along smoothly.
